#策略性加码BTC IP has surged 24.79% in the past 24 hours and is now trading at 2.703 USDT. Trading volume has also increased, with spot volume reaching $373 million and open interest in derivatives growing by $17.28 million. This simultaneous rise in volume and price generally indicates new capital entering the market, not just short sellers being forced to cover.
From a technical perspective, the range between 2.4500 and 2.5200 is a tough nut to crack — it’s both a previous accumulation zone and coincides with the Fibonacci 0.382 retracement level. If the price retraces to this area with declining volume, it’s worth considering a left-side setup. Conversely, resistance above is at 2.8500 to 2.9200, near round numbers and previous peaks. Once volume breaks through 2.9200, it could directly push to 3.2000, signaling a right-side chase for gains. But currently, caution is advised as the short-term rally is aggressive, and the RSI is likely in overbought territory. If the price cannot hold above 2.7000, it may quickly retreat back to 2.4500.
IP (IPOR) is a decentralized interest rate derivatives protocol, with the core value of establishing a benchmark interest rate system on-chain — somewhat like a blockchain version of the "interbank offered rate." Through liquidity pools and arbitrage mechanisms, it provides a transparent floating interest rate pricing tool for the DeFi ecosystem.
Regarding the token, IP mainly serves governance and protocol fee capture roles. Its circulating supply is currently around 40%, with significant unlocking pressure ahead. Whether the token can appreciate depends on whether trading volume can truly pick up, as its market share in the derivatives sector remains limited. Looking deeper, there are several concerns about the long-term prospects of such projects: firstly, the on-chain interest rate market is still niche, both in size and depth, and cannot compare to traditional financial interest rate products; secondly, the sustainability of protocol revenue supporting token value is uncertain; finally, as an infrastructure protocol, network effects have not yet been fully established, and it must also guard against the threat from major players like Aave and Compound.
