I find that stop-loss really resembles a breakup: dragging it out without clarifying, still appearing to be together on the surface, but secretly calculating every day "Will it be better if I endure one more day," and eventually sinking deeper and deeper, even the opportunity cost starts accruing interest. Admitting defeat earlier can actually be more relaxing, at least shifting the energy away from "watching the market and self-torture."

Recently, a bunch of people have been interpreting ETF fund flows, U.S. stock risk appetite, and crypto market rises and falls all together, to be honest, it's not entirely wrong, but using it as an emotional excuse is very dangerous: you think macro is saving you, but actually, you just don't want to press that exit button.

My mom asked me yesterday: "Isn't it just holding on when it drops, thinking it'll go up again eventually?" I said not really... some just aren't suitable anymore, breaking up early is better for both sides. Anyway, I’d rather endure a little pain now than wait until a big bleed. That’s all for now.
