Just saw Fortive completed the Ralliant spin-off and Neill Reynolds is the new CFO over there. Pretty solid pick honestly - the guy's got like 25+ years in finance at major companies. Worked at GE, handled some big deals at Freescale when they merged with NXP, then moved to Wolfspeed as EVP and CFO. That's the kind of resume you want when you're spinning off a new company.

What's interesting is Ralliant is basically Fortive's Precision Technologies segment getting cut loose. Neill Reynolds coming in with all that M&A and operational experience makes sense for getting a new standalone company off the ground. The dude knows investor relations, supply chain, the whole deal.

These corporate reshuffles can be hit or miss, but Neill Reynolds seems like they actually thought this through. Wonder how Ralliant performs as its own thing.
