Just came across this politician's financial disclosure and some of the numbers are pretty wild. Representative Brian J. Mast pulled in $578.8K in Q2 fundraising - apparently that's the 9th highest among all the politicians filing reports this year. Most of it came from individual donors too, like 93.2%. His brian mast net worth is estimated at $3.8M as of mid-2025, which puts him at 163rd richest in Congress according to these tracking sites.

What's more interesting though is looking back at his stock trades. The guy bought $100K of Disney back in 2018 and that's up 15% since then, but he also dumped $100K of Walgreens in 2019 and that stock tanked 80%. He had some bigger wins with Expedia up 50%, but also got caught on the wrong side of NIO which dropped 63%. So basically mixed results like most people trading stocks probably.

He's also got $2M in cash on hand from that filing period, spent about $519.6K in Q2. The brian mast net worth estimates are all based on his financial disclosures so take them with a grain of salt - could be off. Anyway if you're into tracking politician finances and their brian mast net worth movements, there's apparently sites dedicated to this kind of thing. Pretty detailed stuff honestly.
