Just now, I got stuck again in the mempool queue, watching that transaction like a neon reflection stretched out on a wet road after the rain—flickering on and off. I clicked confirm, but it’s still sitting there “waiting at the red light.” Congestion is actually pretty real: you think you’re placing an order, but in the end you’re competing with a bunch of strangers for the same narrow lane. Whoever squeezes in a bit more “tip” goes first; if you pay less, you end up stuck in place—maybe even circling around and failing again—and the fee might not be refunded to you in how much you expect… In plain terms, even emotions are queued up. The airdrop season is even more absurd: the task platform fights against bot accounts, and the points system pushes people like they’re clocking in for work. Then, suddenly, a batch of on-chain actions pours in, and the mempool immediately turns into the morning rush hour. Now I’d rather go slower, skip the few minutes of excitement, split into batches if possible, and wait if I can—after all, being in a hurry is pointless. That’s it for now.
