Never be overly attached to gains and losses.

Don't be discouraged because of a few unlucky incidents.
Nor should you be overly proud because of a few lucky breaks.
When looking at a longer time horizon, life's trajectory will still return to a person's true level, not much different.
Smaller mistakes, a few wrong words, buying a few wrong items, wasting some money—these tiny fluctuations will be pulled back more quickly on the life curve.
