On March 6th, the Zhengzhou Urban and Rural Construction Bureau issued a notice seeking public comments on the “Implementation Opinions of the Zhengzhou Municipal People’s Government on Vigorously Promoting the Development of Prefabricated Buildings (Draft for Comments).” The public consultation period is from March 6, 2026, to April 6, 2026.
The draft proposal states that, according to relevant notices, in cooperation with provincial-level departments, support will be provided to financial institutions that work with qualified enterprises involved in the construction of prefabricated building industrial bases (parks), projects, and technological research and development, by opening a “green” channel, increasing credit support, broadening the types and scope of collateral and pledges, and offering preferential treatment in loan amounts, terms, and interest rates.
For those using housing provident fund loans to purchase prefabricated commercial housing, support will be provided according to differentiated housing credit policies, with the maximum loan amount allowed to be increased by 20%. (People’s Finance News)
