Governor Zhao Long of Fujian Province Meets with Tursunov, Governor of Navoi Region, Uzbekistan

On March 17th, Governor Zhao Long of Fujian Province met with a delegation led by Tursunov, Governor of Navoi Province, Uzbekistan, in Fuzhou. Zhao Long stated that Fujian and Navoi Province are both important nodes in jointly building the “Belt and Road,” with strong economic complementarity, and there is broad room for cooperation between the two sides. He hopes that both parties will work together to implement the important consensus reached by the leaders of the two countries, deepen economic and trade exchanges, expand investment cooperation, and strengthen cooperation in fields such as culture, education, and tourism. Tursunov said that Navoi Province attaches great importance to its cooperation with Fujian and looks forward to using this visit as an opportunity to further strengthen communication and collaboration, deepen cooperation in areas such as trade, industrial parks, artificial intelligence, and cultural tourism, and welcomes more Fujian enterprises to invest and develop in Navoi Province to better promote their respective development and benefit the people of both regions.
