Globe News on March 24丨Baixin International (00574.HK) announced that the group expects to record a net loss of RMB 20 million to 27 million in its unaudited consolidated income statement for the fiscal year 2025, while the net loss for the fiscal year 2024 was RMB 15.3 million.

The increase in net loss is mainly due to several of the group’s products being included in the scope of the centralized procurement of drugs organized by the government of the People’s Republic of China in 2025. The national organization of centralized drug procurement is an important policy implemented by the government to reduce drug prices and alleviate the burden of medication costs for the public. The group adjusted the sales prices of related selected products according to the pricing mechanism of this national policy, resulting in a significant narrowing of the gross profit margins of the affected products, which in turn adversely impacted the group’s overall profitability for this fiscal year.
