On March 25, Chen Yimeng, the Secretary of the New Jian District Committee of Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province, along with other leaders including the district committee member and deputy district head Peng Dabin, visited the Hefei Vocational Education Park of China Oriental Education Group (00667.HK) for on-site inspection and exchange. The President of China Oriental Education Group, Xu Shaobing, Board Secretary Mao Chaosheng, and Assistant Chairman Hua Jun accompanied the inspection and attended the meeting.

During the visit, Secretary Chen Yimeng and his team successively visited Anhui Xinhua Advanced Technical School, Anhui New Oriental Culinary Advanced Technical School, and Anhui Wantong Technician College, gaining an in-depth understanding of the group’s educational achievements. The distinct professional groups, advanced and complete practical training facilities, and the high spirits of teachers and students left a deep impression on the inspection team. At each location, Secretary Chen attentively listened to the school’s introduction regarding professional construction, talent cultivation, integration of industry and education, and student employment and entrepreneurship, expressing high appreciation for the achievements of China Oriental Education Group in vocational education over nearly four decades, and for delivering a large number of high-quality skilled talents to society.

After the visit, both parties held a discussion. As a major focus of cooperation, the Jiangxi Vocational Education Industrial Park project became the core topic of this exchange. Both sides engaged in in-depth and productive discussions regarding key aspects such as project investment construction, promotion plans, and future operations.

Secretary Chen Yimeng stated that the New Jian District Committee and District Government attach great importance to the development of vocational education and will fully support China Oriental Education Group in the project construction in New Jian District, providing high-quality and efficient services for the smooth advancement of the project. He hopes that both parties can take this exchange as an opportunity to further deepen practical cooperation and jointly build the Jiangxi Vocational Education Industrial Park into a model of school-local cooperation, injecting new vitality into the high-quality development of New Jian District and even Jiangxi Province.

Xu Shaobing, President of China Oriental Education Group, warmly welcomed the visiting leaders from New Jian District and sincerely thanked the district committee and district government for their strong support for the project. President Xu pointed out that the group is full of confidence in the development in New Jian District and will fully leverage its brand, resources, and educational advantages to promote project construction with high standards and high quality, ensuring the project is completed on time and achieves effectiveness, striving to cultivate more high-quality technical and skilled talents for New Jian District and accurately empower the local economic and social development.

The Xinhua Education Group Jiangxi Vocational Education Industrial Park is a key investment attraction project in Nanchang City and is set to be established in the New Jian Economic Development Zone by 2025. The project occupies a total area of 287 acres, with a planned construction area of approximately 246,000 square meters, and has been included in Nanchang’s major key projects.

The park will be based in the New Jian District of Nanchang and will radiate throughout Jiangxi Province, planning to build high-level, specialized vocational colleges such as Xinhua Internet, New Oriental Culinary, Wantong Automotive, and Ouman Dishi Fashion Beauty, aiming to create a high-level vocational education hub integrating vocational education, skills training, industry-education integration, and innovation and entrepreneurship. Once fully completed, the project will accommodate more than 12,000 enrolled students and over 600 faculty and staff, providing strong technical talent support for the regional economic and social development.
