IT House, March 10 — Christopher Bergey, Executive Vice President of Arm’s Edge AI Business Division, said in an interview with Spanish tech media GEEKNETIC at MWC26 in Barcelona that they have not yet provided GPU solutions for Windows operating systems to their partners.

IT House notes that although the WoA ecosystem has made significant progress in recent years, Arm’s first-party GPU IP still has not landed on Windows: Qualcomm uses its own Adreno GPU in its PC SoCs; and the upcoming PC version of NVIDIA’s N1 platform is naturally based on NVIDIA’s proprietary GPU.

Christopher Bergey stated that currently only four GPU vendors have received Windows certification: NVIDIA, AMD, Intel, and Qualcomm. He also mentioned that the trend of AI presents great opportunities for Arm: thanks to the SME2 instruction set extension, platforms can accelerate AI workloads without the need for NPU.
