Celebrity purchases industrial building, actor Chan Siu Chun bought a top-floor unit with a platform at Tai Ping Industrial Centre in Tai Po for HKD 12 million.

It is reported that the industrial unit has an area of 4,470 square feet, with an additional 8,642 square feet of platform space, at a price of about HKD 2,685 per square foot. The registered buyer is Chan Tai Chuen, who shares the same real name as Chan Siu Chun.

Originally named Chan Siu Chun, she changed her name to Chan Tai Chuen in 2020 and was recently found attending the Huizhou Political Consultative Conference under that name.

The original owner purchased the unit in 2004 for HKD 500,000. It has been used as a studio, with the platform used to display artwork. After 22 years, the property has a paper profit of HKD 11.5 million, appreciating 23 times.
