Memories.ai Completes $16 Million Funding Round, Partners with NVIDIA to Build AI Visual Memory Layer

Deep Tide TechFlow News, March 17 — According to TechCrunch, AI visual memory startup Memories.ai announced a partnership with NVIDIA to leverage NVIDIA’s Cosmos-Reason 2 visual language model and the Metropolis video search platform to build visual memory infrastructure for wearable devices and robots.

The company was co-founded by former Meta Ray-Ban glasses AI team members Shawn Shen and Ben Zhou in 2024. It has completed $16 million in funding, led by Susa Ventures, with participation from Seedcamp, Fusion Fund, and Crane Venture Partners. The company launched a large visual memory model (LVMM) in July 2025 and has partnered with Qualcomm to run the model on Qualcomm processors later this year.
