Abstract generation in progress

T-Mobile CEO Srini Gopalan has stated that there are no current plans for a Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) partnership with Elon Musk’s Starlink. Gopalan indicated that T-Mobile considers MVNOs when there’s an incremental addressable market, and it’s unclear how a Starlink partnership would fit these criteria, despite an existing collaboration allowing T-Mobile customers to use Starlink’s direct-to-cell technology for services like messaging and video calls. Starlink, which also faces competition from Amazon’s Project Kuiper, had previously acquired spectrum licenses from EchoStar and has filed a trademark hinting at a possible future as a mobile carrier.
