This morning, Zanyu Technology’s breakout soared! Did you catch it? If not, leave 168 in the comments. I will update my thoughts and remind everyone once there’s new information!
Today’s A-shares showed oscillation and divergence, with the market opening lower but then rebounding driven by the cyclical consumption and other major sectors. However, it was soon suppressed by mysterious funds, returning to a sideways trend; at midday, driven by financial stocks, the market slightly rose again, then was hit back by short sellers, causing a sharp plunge. The Shanghai Composite Index directly fell below 4100 points, ending the day with a collective decline.
As for today’s A-shares, the main features of the oscillation followed by a plunge are: first, no prominent hot spots to boost confidence; second, persistent strong selling pressure during the session; third, shrinking volume, with major players still cashing out, and insufficient liquidity. These three characteristics forced the market to drop sharply today.
I believe next week’s A-shares will follow a “first suppress, then rise” pattern, meaning they will open lower and decline initially, then break upward quickly. In other words, next week’s market will first fluctuate and then rally. As for sectors and individual stocks, continued divergence and a rotation pattern are expected, driven by changing market styles and large funds intentionally controlling the market. Overall, I am optimistic about next week’s trend.
