📉 Crypto VC Funding Falls to 6-Year Low
Venture capital investment in crypto projects dropped to $2.2B in Q1 2026, the lowest level in six years.
Most of the funding went to crypto financial services (24%) and DeFi (27%).
Early stage activity is especially weak. Seed rounds totaled just $166M, roughly back to 2020 levels.
