Deep Tide TechFlow News, on March 13th, in response to community concerns about X platform arbitrarily banning a large number of genuine users, Nikita Bier, X's product head and Solana advisor, posted a response stating that the issue was mainly caused by errors in the newly launched spam filtering system, with approximately 99% of incorrectly banned accounts having been restored. Within about 12 hours, the new anti-spam filter mistakenly marked some normal accounts as spam accounts, causing a small number of users to temporarily lose access to their accounts. Nikita Bier further pointed out that as AI technology continues to advance, spam has become one of the biggest risks facing the platform. X platform is continuously increasing investment in and upgrading anti-spam tools. Although the system has high recognition accuracy in most cases, this vulnerability caused a small number of users to temporarily lose access permissions.
