To improve public financial literacy, promote Chinese-style financial culture, and continuously strengthen consumers’ risk awareness, on March 13th at 4 p.m., at Jinbang Park, Haixi Morning Post will team up with local banks and insurance institutions to hold the 2026 “3.15” Xiamen Financial Consumer Rights Protection Education and Promotion Event, creating a financial consumer protection education “feast” that combines Xiamen’s regional characteristics, cultural heritage, and practical value.

This event is guided by the Xiamen Regulatory Bureau of the China Financial Supervision and Administration, the Xiamen Branch of the People’s Bank of China, the Xiamen Regulatory Bureau of the China Securities Regulatory Commission, and the Xiamen Local Financial Management Bureau. It is organized by Haixi Morning Post, supported by the Xiamen Banking Association, Xiamen Insurance Industry Association, Xiamen Securities, Futures, and Fund Industry Association, and the Xiamen Local Financial Association, with co-sponsorship from Cao Cao Mobility.

Dispute Resolution System Launch

Under the leadership of the Xiamen Financial Regulatory Bureau and the Municipal Financial Office, the Xiamen Local Financial Dispute Mediation Center has partnered with local financial institutions to promote a diversified mechanism for resolving financial disputes. The success rate of mediation has reached industry-leading levels, gaining broad social recognition and positive demonstration effects.

At the event, the Xiamen Local Financial Dispute Mediation Center will officially launch the Xiamen Financial Consumer Dispute Mediation System. Through full-process digital upgrades and intelligent empowerment, it aims to standardize and efficiently carry out financial dispute mediation work, effectively safeguarding the legitimate rights and interests of financial consumers, and jointly building a safe, honest, and fair financial consumption environment.

Additionally, there will be a tripartite ceremony for government, enterprise, and media collaboration. This year, in partnership with ride-hailing companies like Cao Cao Mobility, financial knowledge promotional slogans will be posted on the front and back of the front seats of ride-hailing vehicles, making financial education more active and accessible to more drivers and citizens.

On the afternoon of the 13th, major mainstream financial institutions in Xiamen will gather at Jinbang Park to promote financial knowledge through setting up booths and distributing promotional leaflets. It is reported that these institutions will also prepare a variety of prizes for interactive activities with citizens, allowing everyone to learn financial knowledge while receiving beautiful gifts.

At the event, the performance team of the TV drama “Silent Glory” will perform folk drum dances and the Eight-Family-Generals. Zhuang Yanhong, a provincial representative inheritor of Fujian glove puppet art (Xiamen), will lead the performance, showcasing the ancient charm of glove puppet art and recreating the精彩 scenes from “Silent Glory” involving glove puppet shows.

There will also be a specially arranged Minnan-style tea table, offering free water and tea, allowing citizens to experience Minnan culture while relaxing and learning about financial consumer protection.
