To celebrate its 60th anniversary, the Hong Kong Export Credit Insurance Corporation (HKECIC) has launched the “Sixty Together, Building the Future” Customer Reward Program to give back to exporters for their long-term support. The reward program applies to both existing and new policyholders. From April 1, 2023, to March 31, 2027, eligible policyholders can enjoy rebates of up to HKD 6,000. No application or registration is required; the reward will be directly deducted from insurance premiums, policy service fees, or credit investigation service fees.

Chairman of the HKECIC Advisory Committee, Ms. Chan Sui-kuen, stated that today, the HKECIC’s coverage has expanded to over 200 countries and markets, with a total insured business volume exceeding HKD 2.45 trillion in the last fiscal year. Facing a complex and changing global trade environment, the HKECIC will continue to innovate and provide more comprehensive protection to support SMEs in overcoming challenges and seizing new opportunities. It will align with the national “14th Five-Year Plan,” fully leverage Hong Kong’s role as a “super connector” and outbound platform, and work hand-in-hand with the local export industry to “build the future together.”

Director of the HKECIC, Mr. Chiu Man-chung, said that this year, the insured business volume has reached a new record for the second consecutive year, reflecting industry confidence in the corporation. On this important 60th anniversary milestone, several measures have been introduced to thank the industry for their long-term support. This marks a new starting point, and the HKECIC will continue to move forward with a clear direction, committed to becoming a reliable risk management partner and a strategic partner for long-term development.
