Hong Kong Immigration Department: 335 Million Arrivals and Departures Last Year, Setting Record High

The Hong Kong SAR Immigration Department stated that last year, Hong Kong had 335 million entries and exits, an increase of about 12% compared to the previous year, setting a record high. Director of the Hong Kong Immigration Department,郭俊峰, said that the total number of inbound visitors to Hong Kong last year was approximately 50 million, an increase of about 12% year-on-year. Among them, visitors from mainland China numbered about 38 million, up about 11%; other visitors totaled around 12 million, an increase of about 15%. Throughout the year, about 11 million travelers entered via the airport, about 37 million via land border control points, and around 1.8 million via sea routes. (CCTV News)
