On the morning of the 12th, the fourth session of the 14th National People’s Congress held group meetings of deputies to review three draft resolutions on the work reports of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress, the Supreme People’s Court, and the Supreme People’s Procuratorate, as well as a draft decision on approving the report on the legal cleanup work of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress and related laws and decisions; a fourth Presidium meeting was also held.

At 3 p.m. on the 12th, the fourth session of the 14th National People’s Congress held its closing meeting at the Great Hall of the People, voting on the draft resolutions regarding the government work report, the outline of the 15th Five-Year Plan for National Economic and Social Development, the draft of the Ecological and Environmental Code, the draft of the Law on Promoting Ethnic Unity and Progress, the draft of the National Development Planning Law, the draft resolutions on the implementation of the 2025 national economic and social development plan and the 2026 plan, the draft resolutions on the implementation of the 2025 central and local budgets and the 2026 budgets, the draft resolutions on the work reports of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress, the Supreme People’s Court, and the Supreme People’s Procuratorate, as well as the draft decision on approving the report on the legal cleanup work of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress and related laws and decisions.
