Weiming Environmental: Wins Bid for Bogor, Indonesia Waste Incineration Power Generation Project

Gelonghui March 12 | Weiming Environmental Protection (603568.SH) announced that the company received a notice of winning bid from Indonesia’s sovereign investment fund PT Danantara Investment Management, confirming that the consortium led by the company, Weiming Nusantara Energy League Consortium, is the successful bidder for the Development and Management of Environmentally Friendly Technology-Based Waste Processing into Electricity (BUPP PSEL) in Greater Bogor. The project plans to build approximately 1,500 tons/day of waste incineration and power generation facilities, with a construction period of about 2 years, and a 30-year operational cooperation period after commercial operation. This is the company’s second Indonesian waste incineration power project after the Bali project, which will expand the company’s municipal solid waste treatment business and enhance its overall competitiveness in the international environmental protection field.
