Abstract generation in progress

A 38-year veteran advisor, Gregory V. Matthews, who was fired by Morgan Stanley last year, has accepted an industry bar from FINRA. This action follows his refusal to cooperate with an investigation into allegations of exercising discretion without prior written authorization in customer accounts and concerns about trading frequency and order ticket accuracy. Matthews, who joined Connecticut-based RIA Procycon after his termination, will retain his investment advisor license as the FINRA bar does not affect it.
