Abstract generation in progress

On March 9th, Tuniu officially launched the MCP (Model Context Protocol) open platform, providing standardized tourism service capability interfaces for AI agents like OpenClaw and personal assistants. The platform standardizes and encapsulates nearly 20 years of core tourism services such as hotels, flights, and tickets, transforming them into standard skills that AI agents can call. It supports intelligent search, real-time queries, and full-chain booking functions.

It is reported that the first batch of core service scene interfaces for hotels, flights, and tickets has been launched, meeting users’ essential travel needs. Other service categories are being gradually developed. To accommodate mainstream AI agents like OpenClaw, the platform adopts stateless design, API Key authentication, intelligent caching, and other technologies to ensure compatibility, security, and fast response times. This enables a complete booking process from search and detail inquiries to order placement.

Since the rapid rise of OpenClaw in February 2026, AI agents have been impacting service models across various industries. Through this MCP open platform launch, Tuniu aims to connect personal AI agents with tourism consumption scenarios, promoting the transformation of tourism services toward AI-driven models.
