Supreme Court Report: By 2025, cases of intentional homicide and other serious violent crimes concluded will decrease by 7.3% year-on-year
The Fourth Session of the 14th National People’s Congress held its second plenary meeting at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing on the morning of the 9th. Zhang Jun, President of the Supreme People’s Court, delivered the work report of the Supreme People’s Court. The report shows that by 2025, 46,000 cases involving serious violent crimes such as intentional homicide were concluded, involving 53,000 people, a year-on-year decrease of 7.3% (in case numbers).
