Minister's Channel | Minister Han Jun of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs: Recommend consumers to reduce oil intake appropriately, increase bean consumption, and add milk
People’s Financial News, March 9 — Minister of Agriculture and Rural Affairs Han Jun stated on March 9 during the second “Minister’s Passage” session at the Fourth Session of the 14th National People’s Congress that currently, in our country’s food consumption, people eat too much oil, while consumption of beans and dairy is relatively low. The per capita cooking oil intake exceeds the recommended amount by 40%, the per capita dairy consumption is only one-third of the world average, and soybean and soy product intake is less than 60% of the recommended amount. We suggest appropriately reducing oil, increasing beans, and adding dairy.
