Former Bank of Japan Governor Haruhiko Kuroda: There is still room for continued interest rate hikes in the coming years

The former Governor of the Bank of Japan, Haruhiko Kuroda, explicitly stated that if the economy remains resilient, there is still room for continued interest rate hikes in the coming years. The policy rate may gradually rise from the current 0.75% to the 1.5% to 1.75% range.
