Previously, I saw Brother Sun mention Huizhou, and my first reaction was that it sounded pretty good. But upon closer thought, it's not really necessary.


Huizhou is seen as a knockoff of Shenzhen, with the only advantage being housing prices. But in fact, living slightly farther out or in less desirable areas of Shenzhen offers many options.
For example, in Nanshan, luxury apartments can cost tens of thousands per square meter, while nearby old, dilapidated buildings scheduled for demolition can be rented at a 10% discount. Moreover, during the development phase, renting is definitely the way to go, and the opportunities gained from renting slightly worse or slightly farther away are greater than in Huizhou.
