Oil prices fell, leading to a strong opening of the Hang Seng Index up 331 points at 25,740. It then fluctuated higher, reaching a maximum increase of 464 points, with a high of 25,872. The Hang Seng Index rose 396 points in the first half, closing at 25,804, with a turnover of HKD 172.01 billion. The Tech Index gained 1.4%, closing at 7,120 points. Tencent (00700) surged over 5%, CATL (03750) rose over 7% after earnings, Zhipu (02513) increased nearly 7%, and MINIMAX (00100) jumped over 9%, reaching a new high of HKD 1,148 since listing. Financial stocks rebounded, with HSBC (00005) and AIA (01299) up 3%. Oil prices retreated, with PetroChina (00857) down over 2%, and CNOOC (00883) down 1%.
