According to Uliutin, the indexation will affect nearly all pensioners, except for those whose pensions were granted in 2025 and at the beginning of 2026. Funds for the indexation have already been allocated.
Work is also underway on a comprehensive pension reform, with final calculations currently being completed.
“It is important for us that the new pension system remains financially sustainable for decades,” the minister said.
He noted that preparations are ongoing for a comprehensive bill that will cover the solidarity pension system, professional pensions, and a voluntary funded component. After the document is finalized, the Ministry of Social Policy plans to hold public consultations and submit it to the Verkhovna Rada later this year.
