## Corporate BTC Purchases: Strategy Leads with Record Investment Amid Global Trend
Last week, the global financial world witnessed an interesting movement in the cryptocurrency market. Strategy (, formerly MicroStrategy ), made a significant bet on the future of digital assets by investing $109 million USD to acquire 1,229 bitcoins at a price of $88,568 per coin. This decision brought its total portfolio to an impressive amount — 672,497 BTC.
According to data published by the analytical platform SoSoValue based on information from December 29, 2025, public corporations worldwide (excluding mining operators) accumulated bitcoins worth a net total of $121 million USD over the week. This figure reflects growing confidence among institutional players in the long-term value of the first and largest cryptocurrency.
Meanwhile, Strategy leads in volume, with Japanese fashion company ANAP showing activity through two separate transactions. During the holiday days, December 24, the company invested $1.74 million USD, acquiring 18.4 BTC at $94,455 per unit. The next day, December 25, ANAP made a larger purchase totaling $10.42 million USD, buying 109.4 bitcoins at a price of $95,255.4 each. The company's total bitcoin holdings now amount to 1,346.5778 coins.
In contrast, Japanese public company Metaplanet remained inactive in this market during the period under review.
The overall picture shows that global public corporations (excluding miners) have accumulated 918,110 bitcoins, with a current value estimated at $8.023 billion USD. This portfolio accounts for 4.60% of the total circulating BTC market capitalization, demonstrating the increasing role of institutional players in shaping demand in the cryptocurrency market.
