According to the latest monitoring data from the on-chain data tracking platform Onchain Lens, the Bhutan government has officially participated in Ethereum staking through Figment, deploying a total of 320 ETH. This move marks an important upgrade in the blockchain strategy of this Himalayan country.

The migration to Ethereum reflects the country’s strategic recognition of the security and liquidity of the Ethereum mainnet ecosystem. Economic Significance Behind Staking
The 320 ETH has significant value in the current market. Based on the latest prices, with ETH at approximately $3.15K, the assets staked by Bhutan have reached the multi-million dollar level. This not only demonstrates the country’s confidence in the long-term value of Ethereum but also signals an important step for government-level institutions to officially enter the PoS ecosystem.
