Since Trump's election, there have been many voices claiming that small-cap stocks (IWM) are relatively strong compared to tech stocks (QQQ). Honestly, from a trend perspective, it does seem somewhat interesting, but this trading pair has a common flaw—every few years, there's a false illusion of "bottoming out," and the result is still getting stuck in a long-term downtrend channel. Personally, I am quite looking forward to the day when the market once again starts to wildly favor QQQ. By then, the story might be told in reverse.

It's the same story again. Every time they say it's bottomed out, but it keeps falling. IWM really is a trap.
