Dusk Network officially launched the DuskEVM mainnet on January 7th, marking another significant milestone following the system upgrade on December 20th of last year. The highlights of the new mainnet include support for privacy-preserving smart contract execution and integration of real asset (RWA) tools, both of which are especially important in today's environment of increasing compliance requirements.

From a technical perspective, privacy-preserving smart contracts can address many data privacy dilemmas faced by institutions. Especially with the rapid development of the RWA track, how to ensure transaction transparency while maintaining participant privacy has become a key issue. Dusk's solution not only targets developers but is also beginning to attract the attention of institutional users.

Community feedback is generally optimistic, with market participants focusing on the practical application of this new network and its compatibility with the existing financial system. Whether from the perspective of technological innovation or market demand, the combination of privacy and compliance has the potential to become the next growth driver.

Privacy + compliance is indeed a necessity; without solving privacy issues, RWA this time is pointless.

Privacy + compliance are indeed the future directions, but how much Dusk can be implemented still depends on the actual situation. Can institutional users really use it? Strong features on paper are useless if they can't be applied in practice. Wait, can RWA truly solve the contradiction between transparency and privacy? It seems a bit difficult. Once the mainnet is launched, it will depend on how developers and projects follow up, which is the key. Privacy contracts sound good, but will regulatory authorities buy into it? That's the question.

Privacy + compliance is indeed an interesting combination; finally, some projects have thought this through thoroughly. Institutional users are starting to pay attention, which is the real signal, not just hype about concepts.
