Over the years, I've seen too many blockchain projects hype up—some aggressively promote TPS, some pile on stories of decentralization, and others just chase hot trends and follow the crowd. But the Dusk project seems to be taking a different path.

It's not about creating buzz, but about tackling hard problems. What hard problems? The actual issues that prevent financial institutions from going on-chain.

The core logic is actually quite simple: real financial activities can't run on completely transparent ledgers. Imagine exposing a bank's positions, the investment strategies of asset management firms, or the transaction details of financial asset issuers—if all that is laid bare in the sunlight, who would dare to use it?

Dusk's approach is to start from the perspective of privacy. It's not about avoiding regulation, but about providing financial institutions with a reasonable level of protection—allowing you to be verifiable without having to reveal all your cards. This is what institutions truly care about.

Finally seeing someone analyze seriously, most projects are indeed just bragging, but the idea behind Dusk is truly different. The balance of privacy + verifiability is well struck, and institutional finance needs this kind of thing. Exactly, transparent ledgers are a nightmare for financial institutions; who would reveal their hand? This is what blockchain should really be about, not chasing trends and hyping numbers. Dusk is one of the few projects that have thought it through; most others are just performing. Can privacy and verifiability truly be compatible? How complex does this tech stack need to be? Onboarding institutional finance mainly comes down to trust issues; privacy is just the first step. Agreed, there are too few projects that focus on real work; most are just cutting leeks.

Finally, someone dares to tell the truth: privacy is not for hide-and-seek. Real finance professionals would never reveal all their assets openly.

Finally someone is speaking some real words, not just bragging about projects. To be honest, the privacy layer is indeed a bottleneck issue; institutions are not fools. The idea of balancing verifiability and privacy is quite interesting, but the real test is whether it can actually be implemented. This is what blockchain should be doing—stop always thinking about challenging TPS records. Institution-level privacy protection needs have been underestimated for too long; Dusk hits the mark from this perspective. There are too many pitfalls; let's see if it can really be realized before making any conclusions.

Finally, a project has been understood: privacy is not for hide-and-seek, but a fundamental requirement of finance.
