#跨链基础设施与互操作 I just saw that JPMorgan and Galaxy conducted a $50 million commercial paper transaction on Solana. I have to admit I was a bit confused at the time😅 $50 million was issued and settled on-chain like this? And it was still using USDC?
After looking into it, I realized this seems to be an important collision between traditional finance and the on-chain world. JPMorgan chose to pilot on Solana, with major institutions like Coinbase and Franklin Templeton involved... What does this indicate? It suggests that this path might really be viable.
What surprised me the most is that behind this is actually the role of cross-chain infrastructure—interoperability between different chains allows big institutions to dare to play like this. I’ve heard people talk about interoperability before, and now I finally have a sense of it; the true significance lies right here.
However, I’m still a bit confused: why choose Solana instead of Ethereum? Is it because of faster speed and lower fees? Can someone explain this to me as a newbie? I feel that once I understand it thoroughly, my overall understanding of the ecosystem will be much clearer👀
