According to Wu Shuo, Hongxing News reports that at the end of November, Vienna, Austria, cracked down on a brutal murder case related to cryptocurrency. A 21-year-old Ukrainian man, Danylo Kuzmin (son of the Kharkiv deputy mayor), was kidnapped and murdered by classmates and others with the intention of obtaining his crypto wallet passwords. The police stated that the victim was tortured in the car for an extended period before revealing the passwords to two wallets, after which he was killed and the car was set on fire to destroy evidence. Two suspects were arrested in Ukraine at the end of November; one is a 19-year-old stepchild of the Ukrainian ambassador to Bulgaria, and the other is a former Ukrainian customs official. The police recovered a large amount of cash from the suspects and confirmed that the victim's wallets contained large transfer records.
