Sonic Labs states that after October 15, 2026, approximately 32.69 million unclaimed S tokens will be permanently destroyed. These tokens are currently locked in the airdrop contract, and after the deadline, anyone can trigger the destruction on-chain. The company also stated that no additional airdrops or minting will be conducted, and unclaimed allocations will not be kept in the contract long-term.
