伊朗總統裴澤斯基安 (Masoud Pezeshkian) 首度鬆口表態，伊朗伊斯蘭共和國有「必要的意志」結束這場戰爭，但前提是必須得到「侵略不再發生」的保證。
美國總統川普表示，美國計劃在兩到三週內撤出伊朗，而荷姆茲海峽將「自動開放」。
這場持續五週的戰爭造成了廣泛的基礎設施破壞，荷姆茲海峽的封鎖切斷了能源供應，導致油價飆升，同時也引發了人們對通膨加劇和經濟成長放緩的擔憂。
美國經濟數據顯示，由於對商業和勞動市場狀況的看法略有樂觀，3月消費者信心意外上升。2月份職缺減少，招募速度放緩，顯示戰前勞動力需求較為疲軟。
美股三大指數全面上揚，分析師警告別樂觀過早
週二，美股三大指數均大幅上漲。但總結三月的表現，標普500指數仍下跌5.1%，創下自2022年以來最糟糕的月度表現。道瓊工業指數下跌5.4%，結束了先前連續10個月的上漲動能。那斯達克指數下跌4.8%。斯達克指數較近期盤中高點仍下跌超過10%。道瓊指數和標普500指數分別較近期高點下跌超過8%和6%。
彭博社分析師 Brendan Fagan 表示：
「伊朗週二釋放出願意結束敵對行動的信號，這引發了人們的欣喜之情，但現在看來似乎仍為時過早。很多事情都取決於德黑蘭對『基本保證』的定義——特別是如果這些保證與伊朗對美國停火提議的回應中概述的條件相符，這些條件對華盛頓可能是很高的門檻。」
