Tập đoàn quản lý tài sản Franklin Templeton đã hợp tác với Ondo Finance để phát hành phiên bản token hóa của 5 quỹ ETF theo dõi cổ phiếu, trái phiếu và vàng, hướng đến nhóm nhà đầu tư crypto-native sử dụng ví số thay vì môi giới truyền thống.
Các quỹ này sẽ hoạt động hoàn toàn on-chain, cho phép giao dịch 24/7 và tích hợp vào hệ sinh thái DeFi. Ondo sẽ đóng vai trò cung cấp thanh khoản, đồng thời nắm giữ các cổ phiếu ETF cơ sở để bảo chứng cho token phát hành.
Danh mục được token hóa gồm: quỹ cổ phiếu tăng trưởng Mỹ, quỹ cổ phiếu vốn hóa lớn, quỹ vàng, quỹ trái phiếu doanh nghiệp lợi suất cao và chiến lược cổ phiếu tạo thu nhập. Cấu trúc phát hành sử dụng pháp nhân chuyên biệt (SPV), trong đó Ondo mua và lưu ký tài sản cơ sở trước khi phát hành token tương ứng.
Franklin Templeton được xem là một trong những đơn vị tiên phong trong token hóa từ năm 2021 với quỹ OnChain U.S. Government Money Fund (BENJI) – hiện là sản phẩm trái phiếu chính phủ on-chain lớn thứ tư, quản lý hơn 1 tỷ USD tài sản.
Động thái mới đánh dấu bước mở rộng mạnh mẽ của công ty vào lĩnh vực token hóa, trong bối cảnh nhiều tổ chức tài chính lớn cũng đang đẩy nhanh chiến lược đưa tài sản thực (RWA) lên blockchain.
Giai đoạn đầu, các ETF token hóa sẽ được triển khai tại châu Âu, châu Á – Thái Bình Dương, Trung Đông và Mỹ Latinh. Trong khi đó, Ủy ban Chứng khoán và Giao dịch Hoa Kỳ tiếp tục khẳng định rằng các tài sản chứng khoán on-chain vẫn thuộc phạm vi quản lý của luật chứng khoán hiện hành.
Hiện Franklin Templeton quản lý khoảng 1,7 nghìn tỷ USD tài sản, trong khi Ondo Finance ghi nhận khoảng 620 triệu USD tổng giá trị bị khóa (TVL).
