Korean AI chip company Rebellions raises $400 million in funding, with a valuation of approximately $2.34 billion

Golden Finance reports that on March 31, Rebellions, a South Korean artificial intelligence (AI) chip company, completed a new round of financing, raising $400 million. The funds raised this time will mainly be used to expand into the U.S. market, increase production capacity, and prepare for going public. Following the $250 million Series C round conducted in September last year, Rebellions’ total funding to date has reached $850 million, and the company’s valuation is approximately $2.34 billion. Rebellions’ chips focus on inference execution for AI applications, which is different from NVIDIA’s graphics processors, which are mainly used for model training.
