The CEO of Gluwa, Tae Oh, has paid a courtesy call to the Vice President of Nigeria, Kashim Shettim, as a display of commitment to enhancing the digital and creative industries in Nigeria.
The discussion served as an exploratory platform for potential collaborative efforts to enhance Nigeria’s digital landscape with a particular focus on using financial technology to improve infrastructure for the country’s citizens.

Gluwa, which recently signed an MoU with the Central Bank of Nigeria to drive eNaira adoption as a partner agent, is also looking to take further steps in financial inclusivity in Nigeria by introducing its satellite-based ISP solution to help provide internet connectivity to rural areas in Nigeria.
By focusing on these technological advancements as proposed solutions to Nigeria’s challenges, Gluwa aims to collaborate with Vice President Kashim Shettima on how to best contribute to the financial and creative industries for the country’s broader digital transformation plans.
As reported by BitKE, the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) finalized a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Gluwa Nigeria as a partner agent to help drive increased adoption of the eNaira central bank digital currency (CBDC).
The partnership’s core objective is to harness the power of blockchain technology to:
Gluwa, a blockchain-based financial platform that has been operational in Nigeria for several years, will integrate its Credal technology into the eNaira platform. The intention is to facilitate the establishment of ‘credit reputations’ for eNaira users, thereby advancing financial inclusion.
About Gluwa

Gluwa is a pioneering L1 blockchain platform designed for the documentation and matching of credit transactions. It establishes a public ledger that records credit histories and loan performances, setting the stage for a new era of interoperable cross-chain credit markets.
By collaborating with technology partners and fintech lenders, such as Aella, and engaging with financial institutions in global emerging markets, Gluwa’s Creditcoin framework is facilitating capital financing, building credit histories, and fostering trust among millions of financially underserved individuals and businesses, guided by the principles of Real World Assets (RWA).
