I just saw that Bessent, the Treasury Secretary, is quite optimistic about the U.S. economy. He says that spending is solid almost everywhere and that people "feel good in their hearts." It's interesting how he phrases it; it's not the typical language of an official.



I don't know if the economy is really that good or if it's pure political rhetoric. Bessent probably knows more than anyone, but these comments always sound a bit... convenient. What do you all think, do you feel this good about everything?
