Techub News: Scroll community has released a governance update proposal regarding "Dissolving the Security Council and Transferring Control." The proposal recommends dissolving the Security Council and transferring its protocol control to a multi-signature wallet managed by Scroll administrators. Additionally, several DAO contributor roles are planned to be terminated by April 30, 2026, and the Operations and Accountability Committee will also scale down according to current activity levels. The proposal is led by Scroll, and the transition of the Security Council requires support from the council members. Currently, the adjustments to contributor roles have been agreed upon with the Operations and Accountability Committee, and the Scroll Foundation has expressed support for the above changes.
