Gate has recently launched a P2P Shared Asset feature, which allows users to publish multiple ads, as long as each one individually does not exceed the account's available balance. This allows for better utilization of users' assets and more trading opportunities.
Advantages of P2P Shared Asset Feature 1.Improved Asset Utilization: Users can publish multiple ads, with each ad not exceeding the account's available balance. 2.Flexible Control: Users can freely choose to turn on or off the feature at any time. 3.Ads Customization: Supports multiple payment methods and different price setting
Without P2P Shared Asset Feature: Before the introduction of this feature, if you had 1,000 USDT in your account, you could either publish one advertisement to sell 1,000 USDT, or publish multiple advertisements, provided the total amount of all ads combined did not exceed 1,000 USDT. If you wanted to publish more advertisements, you needed to top up additional assets for your account.
With P2P Shared Asset Feature: With the introduction of the P2P Shared Asset feature, if you have 1,000 USDT in your account, you can now publish multiple ads simultaneously, and each individual ad can have a transaction amount of up to 1,000 USDT.
Example Scenario Assuming your account balance is 1,000 USDT, you can publish multiple ads simultaneously: -Ad A: Sell 1,000 USDT -Ad B: Sell 1,000 USDT
If the buy order volume for Ad A is 999 USDT, this will reduce the available balance to 1 USDT. If the minimum transaction amount for Ad B is 5 USDT, Ad B will be hidden from the ad list due to the insufficient available balance. If the order from Ad A is canceled, the available balance for Ad B will be restored. If the order from Ad A is executed, Ad B will be automatically deleted due to the insufficient available balance.
Assume that your account available balance is 1,000 USDT: -Ad A: Sell 1,000 USDT A buy order for 200 USDT is placed for Ad A; Ad B and Ad C will remain to be listed. -Ad B: Sell 900 USDT The 200 USDT buy order for Ad A is cancelled.
This is a complicated scenario. When Ad A is placed to sell 1,000 USDT, the entire 1,000 USDT is frozen. After a buy order for 200 USDT is placed for Ad A, the remaining available balance for Ad A is now 800 USDT. Then you decide to place Ad B to sell 900 USDT. Since 800 USDT is already shared from Ad A, an additional 100 USDT needs to be frozen to meet the 900 USDT requirement for Ad B. (the remaining 800U for Ad A + 100 USDT for Ad B ). The current locked amount becomes 1,100 USDT (1,000 USDT for Ad A + 100 USDT for Ad B). When the 200 USDT buy order for Ad A is canceled, this adds 200 USDT back to the available balance. Since the maximum limit for advertisement orders is 1,000 USDT, only 1,000 USDT needs to be locked. So the extra 100 USDT that was previously locked for Ad B is now returned to the merchant's account.
Notice: -This feature is only applicable to sell ads. Buy ads are not subject to the available balance limit. -Please ensure that the maximum amount of each ad does not exceed the account's available balance.
Rules: 1.Enable the feature: Users can enable or disable Shared Asset feature in the personal center (default is disabled) 2.Shared Asset rules: -Active: If the available balance becomes insufficient to cover the remaining ads after executing orders for other ads, the remaining ads will be removed from the list. -Non-active: If the total amount of all sell ads published is less than the account's available balance, the Shared Asset feature will not be activated, and those published ads will not affect each other.
Shared Asset feature allows Gate users to manage their P2P ads more flexibly and efficiently, improving asset utilization and ad exposure.
