Gate.io Supports saffron.finance (SFI) Renaming to saffron.finance (SAFFRONFI)
Gate.io will rename saffron.finance (SFI) to saffron.finance (SAFFRONFI). As part of this process, we will suspend the deposit, withdrawal, and trading services for saffron.finance (SFI), including the SFI_USDT spot trading pair and quantitative grid trading, starting at 02:00 UTC on February 13, 2025. Once the renaming is complete, saffron.finance will be relisted on Gate.io with the new ticker SAFFRONFI.
Gate.io will take the following steps to swap the tokens:
1) Gate.io will suspend the deposit, withdrawal, and trading services for saffron.finance (SFI), including the SFI_USDT spot trading pair and quantitative grid trading services, starting at 02:00 UTC on February 13, 2025.
2) Users who have active quantitative grid trading of saffron.finance (SFI) should adjust their trading strategies beforehand. Otherwise, the trades will be terminated automatically before 02:00 UTC on February 13, 2025.
This renaming only encompasses the alteration of the token ticker and does not involve the swap or migration of the blockchain. Gate.io users do not need to take any additional actions, and the security of your assets will not be affected. After the name change is completed, the token will be re-listed under the new ticker.
